Driving Change Beyond the supply chain

PARTS WITH A PURPOSE

5% of our annual profits go to supporting community initiatives through the Nursey Foundation

The Story Behind the Nursey Foundation

At Direct Components, Inc., we believe that our impact extends beyond the products we supply. With a passion for giving back, our CEO, Aaron Nursey, along with his wife, Heidi, and Roddy and Nandy Premsukh, co-founded the Nursey Foundation in 2022. The foundation was born from a shared vision: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need and uplift the communities we serve.

Aaron’s personal journey of leadership and philanthropy sparked the creation of the Nursey Foundation. He has always been a leader who values the importance of people — whether it’s his team members or the communities around him. As Direct Components grew, Aaron and the leadership team realized they could extend their company’s success beyond the business world. They wanted to ensure they could directly influence causes they cared deeply about: hunger, mental health, homelessness, childhood illness, and foster care transitions.

The Nursey Foundation’s mission is simple but powerful: to give back with purpose. Aaron committed 5% of Direct Components’ annual profits to support community initiatives.Over the years, this commitment has grown, with the foundation partnering with 14 different organizations that are dedicated to improving lives.

These partnerships include Ready for LifeChildren’s Cancer CenterChildren’s Home Network, and Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures, to name a few.

Aaron and the entire Direct Components team take this mission to heart. “We wanted to do more than just donate money; we wanted to become part of the solution,” Aaron says. That’s why the Nursey Foundation also emphasizes hands-on involvement, encouraging team members to volunteer and engage with local organizations.

From sponsoring meals for families in need to supporting children battling illnesses, the Nursey Foundation has become an extension of Direct Components’ commitment to making a tangible difference. It’s not just about what we sell; it’s about how we use our resources to rescue, restore, and realize the potential in the communities that need it most.

Through the Nursey Foundation, every component we distribute supports a greater cause — a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

This is Parts with a Purpose.
