Prepared by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), with representatives from aviation, space, and defense companies in the Americas, Asia/Pacific and Europe, AS9120:2016/AS9120B standardizes quality management system requirements.
The AS6081 standard is an aerospace standard that focuses on the avoidance, detection, mitigation, and disposition of counterfeit electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) parts. It was introduced to address the growing risk of counterfeit parts entering the aerospace supply chain, which can pose significant performance, reliability, and safety risks.
The standard was introduced by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International in November 2012. It provides guidelines and requirements for independent distributors to ensure the authenticity of EEE parts through rigorous supplier management, procurement practices, inspection, testing, and response strategies when suspect counterfeit parts are identified.
ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) is the common occurrence of a momentary electrical shock given off by a person or virtually any ‘charged’ object.
ANSI/ESD S20.20 is the multi-industry standard for the development of ESD control programs that protect today’s increasingly sensitive electronic components, assemblies, and equipment from costly ESD damage and reduce down-time. Using the standard’s control methods and guidance, an organization can develop an ESD control program that protects devices down to 100v (class 1a) or less.

GIDEP (Government-Industry Data Exchange Program) is a cooperative activity between government and industry participants seeking to reduce or eliminate expenditures of resources by making maximum use of existing information. The program provides a media to exchange technical information essential during research, design, development, production and operational phases of the life cycle of systems, facilities and equipment.
