Direct Components, Inc., unveiled a brand-new office, located near downtown Tampa, Florida, close to the Tampa International Airport. A massive upgrade from its previous location, the new office features a 2000 square foot, climate-controlled warehouse for inventory and an open sales floor with plenty of room for additional employee growth.
“We are extremely excited to finally release the opening of our new facility, which is 22 years in the making,” Aaron Nursey, founder & CEO of Direct Components, Inc. stated. “We’ve come a long way from where we first started. It’s not only an upgrade for our employees, but for our clients and our business as a whole.”
One of the many unique and beneficial amenities unveiled was the addition of an 1,100 square foot, in-house lab designed for testing components to ensure products sold are of highest quality – analyzed by Direct Components, Inc. itself. The in-house lab allows processes including visual inspection, electrical/memory/pin correlation/functional testing, solderability testing, x-ray analysis and much more. Clients can feel confident in choosing Direct Components, Inc. as a partner, knowing that the lab serves as additional transparency and protection.
Speaking at the official grand re-opening event, Direct Components, Inc. COO Sunshine Hubbard expressed the dedication it has taken to relaunch the business as it now is today, stating, “It has been a long journey. When I started, I was employee number 7. Today, I’m proud to say we have 31 people on our team, and almost 11,000 square feet of amazing new space.”
Included in the nearly 11,000 square foot facility is an all new sales floor featuring a collaboration area for team members both in-house and remote, as well as height-adjustable desks throughout the sales floor and private offices, and a comfortable employee lounge with the newest gaming systems for relaxing break times. Keeping employees happy and productive is a top priority with Direct Components and this new facility does not disappoint.
